Our story

A Mediterranean room in the red city

Carmel began with a simple idea: cook the food of the Mediterranean coast with what the Marrakech market grows, and give the city a room where nobody rushes you.

Fresh ingredients, first

Marrakech inspires our table: set breakfasts, wood-fired pizzas, pasta and Moroccan dishes. Food to share in the Majorelle district.

Mediterranean inspiration

From morning set breakfasts to salads, pasta, burgers and pizzas, the menu covers lunch and dinner. Tagines, pastilla and tanjia complete the Moroccan table.

A relaxing atmosphere

Linen, lime plaster, olive velvet and rattan. Shade in the morning, warm light at dusk. Laptops welcome before noon, phones down after eight.

Community

Half of our guests live here. We host match nights, supper clubs and long weekend tables, because a café should belong to its neighbourhood.
